Before and after Romania joint EU, IPP was constantly concerned that the national policies followed not only the texts of the European legislation but also the spirit and the values. We are interested in whether the foreign policies, both aiming the EU and the other members that are not part of the EU, met the Romanian citizens’ expectations while constantly paying attention to whether Romania has particular new challenges from this new position of an EU member. We are particularly interested in foreign policy related issues not only in EU and non-EU member countries, but also with regards to other important institutional actors (NATO, Council of Europe etc.).
